2023 Nobel Prize in Literature laureate The 2023 Nobel Prize in Literature was awarded to Norwegian writer and playwright Jon Fosse for his innovative plays and prose which give voice to the unsayable. The Swedish Academy announced its decision on 5 October 2023.
